The vision for Flipside Lounge, LLC is to offer a comfortable, modern metropolitan lounge that is magnetic to eclectic personalities who are looking for a place to relax and meet like-minded individuals. To be a third place between work and home where one can enjoy a conversation and sense of community.

 

MISSION STATEMENT

Flipside Lounge, LLC. is a purpose driven company that offers a relaxing social environment with drinks that are alcohol free. Our space is a refuge for the soul and a reprieve from the real world. We provide an immersive space, serving one of a kind drinks containing the most potent proprietary KT products. Our passion is our commitment for driving value for our community by strictly sourcing from exceptional suppliers who sustainable operations. Moreover, we are social responsibility and set aside a portion of our revenue to help a local non-profit.

 

PRODUCT/MARKET FIT (PMF)-

There is a massive untapped market for the experience kava, and specifically a kava lounge, provides. Kava bars are sprouting up all over the United States. Indeed, many kava bar owners open up several locations within a few years of starting their first, due to the overwhelming demand for this product and the positive culture it enables.  Today, there are approximately 100 kava bars in the US, which is a third more than in 2012. Nevertheless, Flipside Lounge, LLC is a completely new take on what a kava bar can be and thus gives us an unprecedented advantage in the market.

 

OUR COMPANY’S MATURITY-

 Flipside Lounge, LLC was founded in March of 2018, and is in the emerging stage of a business within an emerging product market. There has never been a better time to start a kava lounge, nor is there a better location than central Virginia. Over the past year and a half, I have conducted market tests on the receptiveness of potential customers and the reception has been incredibly positive. During demonstrations of the product at local businesses, customers felt a deep connection with the gentle and smooth relaxation that came over them as they enjoyed the effect kava provides in promoting a positive social environment.

 

OUR GROWTH PROJECTION-

Flipside Lounge, LLC has blossomed into three distinct divisions: physical bars, outside events, and bottling. By the end of 2020 we expect to have a second location opened and operational in downtown DC or Richmond, Va. We aim to open two additional locations in 2021 in Charlottesville, Va and Virginia Beach. By 2025 we aim to have at least one location in a Hawian airport, most likely either HNL or OGG. 
The outside event division will allow us to bring the Flipside experience to people that have not been able to make it to our locations yet. We are poised to host corporate events, weddings, birthdays, community events, and much more.
The bottling division is underway with packaging and bottling our most popular drink called the Time Bomb. We see this revolutionary drink to take off wherever it is sold- bringing more brand awareness and broader understanding of the effects of kava to the general public. The bottling division will give Flipside Lounge, LLC the greatest market penetration of any of our ventures. We are very proud to be able to offer the Time Bomb to larger audience!
